Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Generous sized room. Quiet inside room despite roadworks outside. Daily servicing. Pool - we did not try but looked good. Fairly reasonably priced mini bar in room.Breakfast was pretty pricy (around 21 Eu pp) but we did try once as a treat and it was delicious with lots of choice and a chef cooking eggs to order - great scrambled eggs, good bacon, sausages, lots of different fruits (incl peeled kiwifruit), cold meats and cheeses, churros with thick hot chocolate, lots of breads and pastries, a wide choice of juices/drinks, yoghurts and more. It felt like we had a big vitamin boost to start our day with this breakfast. It was uncrowded and staff were also really friendly and service was superb. Everything looked clean and fresh and the chefs were quick to restock. Hotel location was ok for us: big roadworks as I noted and the nearest metro line 6 is out with buses replacing trains (seemed to work ok) - we bought a ten-trip multi metro card to share but mostly walked to where we wanted to be. Atocha was walkable (around 30 mins for us with luggage) and we loved walking through Ritiro Park (can get to the Prado and Botanic Gardens this way) to the rest of the city but sometimes caught a metro back if we were footsore to Pacifico station (on line 1) and hotel is around a 10 minute stroll from there. There are several good supermarkets close by including a mercadona (on way from Pacifico metro, close to hotel) and a Lidl (on route to Atocha but close to the hotel) - the Lidl happily opens on Sundays. We loved this stay and recommend this hotel - Central Madrid hotels were super pricey at the time we were booking and this little distance to cover each day for us was a perfect compromise to get a lower price for a stay that was pretty luxurious and special still and which cost less than something of lower quality more central.

The experience was overall very good. From the very beginning, personnel were very nice and professional, we checked in in no time, and we received all the necessary information about additional facilities and services. The room was spacey and clean, and the view from the window was great. We used the swimming pool area a lot. There were some beach loungers you could use (if it was not too crowded), and you could rent towels from the hotel. The water in the pool was rather cold, but in the heat of summer, it was perfect for cooling down (and the pool was never too crowded).

The Hotel is very beautiful itself, our room was spacious, the beds are very clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. The cleaning staff is doing a marvelous job, we've always found our room as if we just arrived on the first day. Crispy clean and smelling good. :) The food and beverages are really good at their restaurant. The breakfast had several options, frequently refilled, tables always cleaned. It's not too far from the Airport by car. The Retiro park is 10mins walk away, museums and public transportation is also easily accessed from this location.

Everything went well, starting with the reception staff amability and efficiency (including Eva, Raul, Nagib, Natalia, Isaac), providing information and anything we asked for. We got a clean quiet and spacious room in a high floor, good bathroom, comfy beds. Elevators were fast. Breakfast was very good quality and service excellent ( Mr David himself made sure we were well attended). Room cleaning crew (Mrs Lupe) left our room fresh and clean every day. Location was also excellent )( There are bus stops and a subway station, just one corner away. There was also a terrace and small pool at the rooftop, we visited it, but didn't use it due to all we wanted to see in Madrid. The days were very hot and there was either some iced tea or water at a table near the elevators to refresh us when we arrived.

The Location is nice, near the Metro and easy to get to IFEMA from Conde de Casal, also to Sol etc. Near the Parque de El Retiro, less than 15 minutes' walk. The Breakfast is very nice and the staff are so kind. I liked French omelette. The room is clean and spacious with bath tub. The water pressure is enough. Fascinating elevator. The bar is nice, and chicken poke bowl was good. Gracias por todo!

Very clean room, and also the rest of the building, good selection for breakfast, very helpful staff all over, we enjoyed the pool on a very hot temperature. We got there much earlier and they checked us in. very close to the Metro. We would go back for sure next time in Madrid.

The hotel staff were fabulous. All very naturally friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and with very comfortable beds. Nespresso machine in the rooms is always a great idea too! The lift system was perfect as we never waited for too long. The breakfast was excellent - with a good choice and the best idea was offering it until 11am. Also the location was great for us, just outside the centre but near enough to walk to Retiro Park & botanical gardens. The airport transfer took only 20minutes and the Atocha train station only 10 mins by taxi was perfect too.

This is a typical upper market hotel. The rooms are well appointed and relatively large. It's clean, as you would expect. The location is a little out of the "old town" but that was not important to us.
